Heather Farrell

Prep School Consultant

Heather has been working in the academic environment for more than 15 years and has helped numerous Beck’s Ed families successfully navigate the often overwhelming environment of prep school admissions and applications.

A native of Perth, Ontario, Heather is a graduate of The Ohio State University where she received her B.S. in Coaching and Sport Performance, all the while being a full scholarship hockey player. After graduating, Heather worked as the assistant women’s hockey coach at NESCAC’s Division III Bowdoin College, shortly thereafter becoming the head coach.

From there, Heather transitioned to the WCHA’s Division I Bemidji State University as the assistant coach for the women’s team where she headed up the team’s defense, recruiting, and running the off-ice strength and conditioning program. Heather also worked towards her Masters degree while at Bemidji State University.

Heather now works as the associate director of admissions at a prestigious college preparatory school out east where she is also the head coach for the girls Varsity hockey team.
